ProxyBridge macOS 4.1.2
Fixed
Tunnel that does not start (#282). On some Macs macOS stopped the tunnel right after starting it and ProxyBridge showed nothing. Now:
The Activity Logs say the tunnel did not start and show the reason macOS gave.
ProxyBridge tries once to repair it: it removes its saved network configuration and creates a new one. macOS may ask you to allow it again.
If that does not work, the log lists the steps to do by hand.
Command line: the profile's Enable DNS setting is now applied before the tunnel starts. Before, a DNS proxy that was meant to be off could stay on when the tunnel failed to start. The command line also reports why the tunnel did not start and retries once with a fresh configuration.
Added
The extension now records why it started and stopped, for example Tunnel stopping: stopped by the user. It never records passwords or the addresses you connect to. To read it: log show --last 10m --predicate 'subsystem == "com.interceptsuite.ProxyBridge.extension"'
Useful when you report a problem.
