Release list
InvurseUI 2.1
A fix release for the latest WoW Forever beta update, which caused a flood of Lua errors for many addons, InvurseUI included.
Fixes
- No more Lua errors from the beta's new addon restrictions. The beta now hides some unit information from addons ("secret values"), especially in combat, and addons that tried to read it threw errors. InvurseUI now treats hidden information as unknown and carries on.
- Threat glow: when the game hides a mob's threat information, that nameplate simply shows no glow instead of erroring.
- Level beside the name: works with names the game hides in combat. If the level itself is hidden, it's shown without the difficulty color.
- Unit frame colors: class and power colors no longer error when that information is hidden.
- The addon no longer errors if a future build removes a Blizzard function or event it hooks.
Install
Download InvurseUI-2.1.zip, unzip it into World of Warcraft/_classic_beta_/Interface/AddOns/ (replacing the old InvurseUI folder), and restart the game. Your settings carry over from 2.0.

InvurseUI 2.0
Forever Nameplates is now InvurseUI: subtle tweaks to the stock UI for World of Warcraft Forever (interface 16001). The threat glow is unchanged, and the addon now covers more than just nameplates.
New
- Level beside the name on nameplates (
19 - Greater Tarantula), colored by difficulty, with+for elites and??for skull-level mobs. The level box on the right is gone and the health bar uses the full width. - Flat bar textures (Flat, Smooth or Blizzard default) for the player, target and party frames, the raid frames, the damage meter and, optionally, the nameplates.
- Health bar color: classic green, or class color for players.
- Font changer for the standard UI, with a bundled Roboto family (Regular, Medium, Bold, Condensed, Condensed Bold) plus any LibSharedMedia fonts.
- The options are split into Nameplates, Textures and Fonts pages.
/iuiopens them, and/fnpstill works.
Install
Download InvurseUI-2.0.zip, unzip it into World of Warcraft/_classic_beta_/Interface/AddOns/, and restart the game.
Upgrading from Forever Nameplates 1.0
Delete the old ForeverNameplates folder from your AddOns folder. Settings don't carry over, so set your glow options again under Esc → Options → AddOns → InvurseUI.
