  • Twitch Chat Integration

    • Connect/disconnect with proper cleanup of event handlers and client objects.
    • Reconnection now works reliably without hanging or duplicating listeners.
    • Auto-reconnect protection logic ensures stability.

  • Script Management System

    • Toggle AI-driven or reactive scripts live during streams.
    • States are remembered across sessions.

  • Built-in Scripts

    • AskAI: Talk to a local GPT4All (llama3-8b-instruct) server.
    • Weather: Real-time city weather data.
    • Translate: English to Spanish message translator.
    • ButtsBot: Inject "butt" into messages for fun.
    • ClapThatBot: Inject humor with "I'd clap that" jokes.
    • MarkovChain: Generates chat-based phrases every 35 messages.

  • UI Enhancements

    • 📌 Pin on Top toggle now changes color (blue) when active.
    • 🗕️ Minimize to Tray button hides the app to system tray with icon.
    • ℹ️ Info button opens a custom window with a clickable GitHub link.
    • Tooltip descriptions added for all top-right utility buttons.
    • Layout shifted for better spacing and button visibility.

  • System Tray Support

    • Uses the app’s actual .ico embedded resource as the tray icon.
    • Tray includes "Restore" and "Exit" options.
    • Double-clicking tray icon restores the app.

  • Info Window Fix

    • Resolved issue where the info popup opened behind the main window when pinned.
    • App now temporarily disables TopMost to correctly show the info dialog above everything, then restores pinning.

  • Persistence

    • Settings stored at Documents\MiniBot\settings.json
    • Markov learning stored at Documents\MiniBot\markov_brain.json

  • Deployment & Tech

    • Built on .NET 8
    • Single executable via self-contained publishing (no .NET install required)
    • Developed in Visual Studio 2022+
    • Uses TwitchLib, Newtonsoft.Json, and optional NLPCloud API for language processing

🚀 Known Limitations

  • AskAI requires GPT4All to be running locally with the right model.
  • No auto-reconnect yet if Twitch drops; manual reconnect is required.
