What's Changed

  • Closing the app during a restore preview, or a restore that fails, no longer leaves an unpacked copy of your backup in the Windows temp folder. A copy left by a crash is removed at the next launch.
  • The window fits the screen when a saved position came from a larger monitor.
  • Debug logs are capped at 5 MB each, and only the newest 3 older logs are kept. If a log can't be written, logging turns off and the app says so.
  • The app no longer leaves an empty cache folder in AppData.
  • Success messages no longer appear in the red error banner.
  • The restore preview shows the backup date as YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM.
  • The missing-document message shows document names correctly.
  • The bottom bar shows only the debug log switch on the left, with the update notice centered.
  • Smaller download: unused Qt parts are no longer bundled. Builds use a hash-checked package list, and the font license and full third-party license texts ship with the app.
  • Upgrading with the installer clears old program files, and a silent uninstall keeps your data.
