What's changed in v1.1.1
New features
- Setting up a speaker's Wi-Fi with an empty password field now asks before sending (app)
- The Top list, Favorites and Pandora buttons show which list is open (app)
- The clock setting now also shows the time on Bluetooth and AUX instead of the connection picture (display)
- Speakers on very old firmware get a step-by-step update guide with a USB stick (firmware)
Fixes
- Radio starts again after a restart on a speaker that switches on into its last source instead of standing by
- A speaker update that breaks off no longer leaves the speaker without Spotify (agent)
- Holding a key to save the playing station now keeps the station's own logo and website, like the + button (agent)
- A stopped speaker now shows "stopped" instead of looking paused on a preset (app)
- Library items and own stations in Favorites no longer show a red "not reachable" dot (app)
- The station list no longer shows "- kbit/s" when the bitrate is unknown (app)
- Wi-Fi setup through the speaker's setup network no longer reports a failure on Windows when it actually worked (app)
- Anonymised diagnostics no longer show the names of your computers and media server hosts (diag)
- A station that played is no longer shown as FAILED after you switch the speaker off (display)
- A speaker whose network install fails or restarts midway always gets its ST Reborn agent back (install)
- The network install needs much less of the speaker's memory and says plainly when the speaker restarted during it (install)
- A cut-off MP3 in an album no longer leaves a long silence before the next track (library)
- A folder key whose music moved on the media server now stops at once and tells you to save the folder again (library)
- Track changes in a music library album are much shorter, and a track no longer stops early on some media servers (library)
- A key you save another album on no longer stays lit, or skips tracks, for the album still playing (presets)
- A speaker no longer rewrites its preset keys every five minutes while music plays (presets)
- After a network outage the phone's update card checks on a single-speaker update again by itself, without a second "not reachable" warning (remote)
- Saving a Spotify key no longer says the speaker could not check your Spotify plan, the speaker now learns it from Spotify when it logs in (spotify)
- Playing on the second speaker of a stereo pair now says to start playback on the pair's main speaker, with a link to it (stereo)
- A speaker that gets a new address while it updates is followed to it, and no leftover entry stays at its old address (update)

Verify your download
Every binary in this release is attested by GitHub's build provenance system.
# SHA256 checksum
sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS
# Sigstore attestation (requires GitHub CLI)
gh attestation verify STR-Windows.exe --owner JRpersonalCode signing
Windows: signed with a Certum Open Source code signing certificate. SmartScreen may still warn while the signature builds download reputation.
macOS: signed with a Developer ID certificate and notarized by Apple. The app and the disk image each carry a stapled ticket, so Gatekeeper opens them without a warning, offline included.
Any warning you do see, and the exact click path past it, is documented on the website Verify page.

Each binary in this release is uploaded to VirusTotal on build, so the unsigned apps' heuristic false-positives are checkable. Live reports for this exact build:
