Spine v0.3.2 brings the desktop memory-parity audit and recovery fixes into the downloadable release.
What changed
- First-run chat downloads verified MiniLM and NLI assets as needed, validates the model-service connection, and remembers successful nonsecret launch settings. Existing local models, offline operation, and
--no-nliremain supported. - Restored DCMDb source, PMI and merge controls, presets, tuning and inspection; corrected concentration and split behavior against Python-generated fixtures.
- Restored Thymos raw queries, affinities, learning-rate overrides and presets, with Python comparisons for activation and valence modes.
- Improved signed-affinity recall, goal-aware retained context, child-agent check-ins and durable tool results.
- Interrupted work is retained in encrypted journals. Recovery does not automatically repeat uncertain actions. Final stop summaries are bounded, consumed checkpoints stay consumed, and malformed recovery records fail safely.
- Streamed text and reasoning stay separate. Progress memory is bounded, final stream fragments are preserved, and invalid DCMDb policy keys are rejected.
- Removed unused direct dependencies and refreshed attribution. Release packages now pass the complete workspace tests on every supported target.

Extract the archive and launch spine (spine.exe on Windows). No Rust, Python, Node.js, or separate Visual C++ runtime installation is needed. The Linux archives target glibc-based distributions.
Existing Rust heart layouts are preserved; compatibility checks read, extend, and reopen v0.2.0 hearts. Legacy Python state-file import and approximate-index performance equivalence are not included. Android and the separate Codex-provider work are outside this desktop release.
The NLI answer checker adds an approximately 330 MB model download alongside MiniLM's approximately 91 MB. Use --no-nli to disable the checker or --no-download with local model assets for offline operation.
