Game news

• Johto region: choose your Johto partner (Chikorita, Cyndaquil or Totodile) and explore the new scenery.
• Pokédex expanded up to #251, new Builds section, daily mutations and Johto menu music.

The Great Expedition — now fully offline

• The extraction mode works without internet: prepare in Bill's PC, loot Rocket crates and Ancient Vaults in the Wild Valley and get out with Pidgeot before the Red Night.
• Bill's PC: gear, bag, safe pocket, insurance, Market, Workshop (repair and reforge), Contracts and Codex.
• Player-to-player tabs (Trading and Rivals) are not available offline.

Events

• Both events are always available: pick Lavender Tower Night or The Great Expedition from the main menu. Each one restarts after its original duration.

Controls

• Fixed: the character no longer moves on its own with the controller.
• Fixed: on-screen joystick and buttons work while holding the console.
• Main menu: the cursor always starts on Play; natural navigation between Play, your Pokémon and the sidebar.
• Bill's PC: zone-based controller navigation that follows rows and columns.
• Smooth menu scrolling with the right stick; Meowth's shop no longer jumps to Refresh when pressing right.

Interface

• The screen no longer shrinks when switching between touch and controller.
• Visible, draggable scrollbars in menus.
• Level-up screens, Bill's PC and other panels fit on screen without scrolling.
• Compact, see-through extraction panel; long move names fit in the HUD.

Notes

• Your progress is kept: install over the previous version.
• 100% offline.

Port improvements

• Redesigned side menu so all 8 buttons fit (Home, Pokédex, Lab, Achievements, Builds, Settings, Donations, Guide) without cutting off the logo or the top bar.
• Long move names (like Burning Jealousy) now fit completely in the HUD slots.
• The daily mutation card shows its full name.
• Pokémon and region names are no longer cut off.
• Settings → Interface: new "Expedition" menu background. Settings → Sound: Johto menu music.
• All new assets added (models, scenery, icons and Johto shiny sprites).

Notes

• Your progress is kept: install the APK over the previous version.
• Still 100% offline.
• The Expedition needs the official server, so it is not available in this port.

Thanks for all the feedback from the community! This update focuses on readability on phones and keeping the screen clear.

✨ New

• Text and menu size setting (Settings → next to Menu background): Automatic, 100%, 90%, 80% or 70%. Shrinks text, menus and HUD together. Automatic fits shorter phone screens (20:9) on its own.
• Update notice: when a new version comes out, the game tells you on the main menu and opens the download in your browser. Your progress is kept. It appears once per version and does nothing without internet.
• Deutsch (German) in the language selector: official German names for Pokémon, moves, types, abilities and items, plus all of the port's own texts. The rest of the game interface stays in English for now.

🛠️ Fixes

• In-run tips, notices and banners are smaller and slightly transparent, so they no longer cover the timer or the action.
• Screen headers (like the Research Notebook) no longer overlap the buttons on narrow phone screens when the size is set to Automatic.

💡 Tip

You can also turn tips, notices and big banners off in Settings → Interface.

Unofficial Android port of PokéBonk, the free web fan game by Charcher, built and tested on the AYN Odin 3 Max.

✨ What's new

• Redesigned main menu: sidebar with Home, Pokédex, Lab, Achievements, Settings and Donations; big Play button; companion panel with your last run.
• Fully offline: no account, no servers. Leaderboards, clans and every online feature were removed, and your progress is saved on the device.
• Local trainer card: runs, wins, KOs, playtime, region records and recent runs, all without internet.
• Port texts in 9 languages: Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, Japanese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Korean and Russian.
• Donations button (Ko-fi) with a ☕ icon. Donations give no in-game advantage.

🛠️ Fixes

• Pokémon portraits and starter cards no longer render black.
• Menu music now starts as soon as the game opens, with no tap needed.
• In-run tips are shorter and no longer pile up; info popups and the "graphics still loading" notice close by themselves.
• Minimap icons are larger.
• Missing avatar frames and icons restored.

🔋 Performance

• The game runs at 60 Hz instead of 120 Hz, so the console runs cooler.
• Removed off-screen pre-rendering that exhausted GPU memory.

🎮 Controls

• Full gamepad navigation in menus; multitouch joystick, buttons and camera.
