Morphman v0.4
What's new
The add-on is now called MorphMan (JoMako). It installs as a new add-on: if you have an older MorphMan from this page, disable it in Tools > Add-ons before using this one.
Now on AnkiWeb (code 73983788).
On first start, a welcome window follows the Quick Start of the guide while the dictionary downloads.
Readability > Results: the Done column is now a single checkbox in the middle of the cell (click anywhere in the cell to check it).
Readability > Results: new default column order (Category, Input, Known Instances %, To Learn, Reachable %, Difficulty Score, Anki Deck, Done, Rating…). A column order you already set is kept.
Morphman v0.3
What's new
Readability
- Faster Analyze: the corpus index is kept between runs (Anime: ~30 s the first time, ~10 s after).
- Results now has one row per season / folder. Right-click a row → Results by episode to see each episode, with a cumulative To Learn column.
- Excluding a row is instant (no full re-analysis).
- Colors based on the data, and filter icons on the headers.
- New Difficulty column, with weights you can adjust in Settings.
- Subtitles added for many anime.
Words to learn
- New layout in three sections: Settings, Words, Create.
- New columns: Order (sort words as they appear in the text), Episode and Count in ep., a master rank for each form of the word (Kanji / Kana), and a Meaning for each word.
- Known % follows the column you sort by.
- Click Base or Norm to search the word (Norm: its kanji form).
- Filter by episode, choose the columns to show, and select by first rows, % known or count.
- Create vocabulary cards directly (Add to deck), or update learning_order.txt.
- Opens faster: example sentences are prepared in the background after Analyze.
Recalc
- Only the notes changed since the last Recalc are processed, which is much faster.
- Progress bar while it runs.
Other
- A timing log (timing_log.txt in your profile's dbs folder) shows how long each step takes.
