v0.1.1
Deckwright 0.1.1 is the first complete public launch of the Rust PowerPoint engine, CLI, MCP server, and agent authoring skill. This patch aligns the MCP Registry identifier with the exact GitHub account namespace.
Install
cargo install dw-cli --version 0.1.1 --locked
cargo install dw-mcp --version 0.1.1 --lockedPrebuilt dw and dw-mcp archives for Windows, Linux, Intel macOS, and Apple Silicon macOS are attached. Verify archives with SHA256SUMS. The skill and portable/Claude Code plugin ZIPs are also attached.
Try the demo
Watch public-demo.mp4 (26 seconds), open the editable morph-demo.pptx, and inspect query-card.png. The video combines an actual PowerPoint Morph export, a selected native shape in PowerPoint edit view, and a real dw query timeline result. The source example is in examples/morph_demo.
The PowerPoint video uses automatic timing; it does not verify manual-click playback. Deckwright's checks and queries model supported OOXML semantics and do not prove font fit or every rendered animation. See the README and authoring skill for validation guidance.
The MCP Registry lists io.github.JoaoCodificacoes/deckwright version 0.1.1 with Cargo package dw-mcp.
v0.1.0
Deckwright 0.1.0 is the first installable preview of the Rust PowerPoint engine. It builds native editable slide objects and exposes supported animation state, timeline, and explicit Morph queries through dw and the seven-tool dw-mcp server.
Install
- Rust CLI:
cargo install dw-cli --version 0.1.0 --locked - MCP server:
cargo install dw-mcp --version 0.1.0 --locked - Prebuilt
dwanddw-mcpbinaries: download the archive for Windows, Linux, or macOS below and verify it withSHA256SUMS. - Agents: download the presentation skill ZIP or the plugin ZIP below. The plugin ZIP contains both a portable Agent Plugins manifest and a Claude Code manifest.
Demo
The 26-second video shows a PowerPoint-rendered Morph, a native shape selected in PowerPoint edit view, and a real dw query timeline result. The editable .pptx and timeline still are attached. Run the source example with cargo run -p deckwright --example morph_demo -- demo.pptx from a checkout.
The video uses PowerPoint's automatic video export. It does not establish manual-click playback in a live slideshow. The CLI and MCP queries report supported OOXML semantics; they are not a renderer and cannot establish visual or font fidelity. See the README and authoring skill for current limits and validation steps.
