Shadows
Skaters now cast their shadows on the ground, and buildings and bridges shade the streets -- and whoever skates through the shade. None of it was drawn before, on any platform. The game works out where its shadows fall every frame, then darkens those places in one last step, and that step uses a way of drawing the renderer did not handle: it drew nothing. Thanks to the Windows player who reported it!
How it was tested
On a Mac, with Metal and with OpenGL: the title's attract demo and Dogenzaka Hill, free and in the race against Beat, with the shadow areas the game works out painted in for checking (the same on Metal and OpenGL), and with the characters' or the scenery's shadows left out; then the release build on the title screen and on Dogenzaka Hill with SMAA and MSAA 4×, on Metal and on OpenGL. Linux (Mesa): the attract demo, with its shadows. Windows (under Wine): the game starts and runs its title screen. The Android and iPhone builds were built and checked, not run.
Everything else is in the changelog, and installation instructions are in the README.
