Important

Make sure to always re-install the ModernZ or uosc files after a new update.

1. Download modernz.lua and modernz.conf

2. Copy both into your mpv directory:

a) For Portable mpv:

mpv/portable_config/scripts/modernz.lua

mpv/portable_config/script-opts/modernz.conf

b) For Standard System mpv:

• Windows:
  • Script: %APPDATA%\mpv\scripts\modernz.lua
  • Config: %APPDATA%\mpv\script-opts\modernz.conf
• Linux / macOS:
  • Script: ~/.config/mpv/scripts/modernz.lua
  • Config: ~/.config/mpv/script-opts/modernz.conf

uosc

1. Download uosc

2. Extract Only uoscfolder from scripts and uosc.conf from script-opts and place them into your mpv directory:

a) For Portable mpv:

mpv/portable_config/scripts/uosc/

mpv/portable_config/script-opts/uosc.conf

b) For Standard System mpv:

• Windows:
  • %APPDATA%\mpv\scripts\uosc\
  • %APPDATA%\mpv\script-opts\uosc.conf
• Linux / macOS:
  • ~/.config/mpv/scripts/uosc/
  • ~/.config/mpv/script-opts/uosc.conf
