First public Mac download, with signed in-app update checking.
- Enhance a window, display or local video with frame generation and scaling.
- Choose supported Apple and RIFE backends and save profiles for your content.
- Local playback, subtitles and Finder Quick Look previews.
- Check for updates from the OpenDuckFrame menu; automatic checking can be disabled.
Requires an Apple silicon Mac and macOS 14 or later. Some backends require macOS 26 or later, supported hardware or additional models. Requested multipliers do not guarantee an achieved frame rate.
This community build is ad-hoc signed and is not Apple notarized. macOS may block its first launch. If you trust the download, review the app under System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose whether to allow it. No Apple security settings are changed by the installer.
