Fixed

  • Opening DevTools no longer gets visitors banned on Apache. The site-root .htaccess denied every .map and .mjs file, so Chrome's sourcemap requests were refused and logged as client denied by server configuration, which Fail2Ban's apache-auth filter counts as failed logins. Sourcemaps and plugin ES modules are now reachable; dotfiles, source, config, and data files stay blocked. Existing installs pick this up on upgrade while the file's managed first line is intact. No matching Public Roadmap issue currently exists.
