This release corresponds to the HeiCut code as submitted to ALENEX 2026 with software and datasets archived on Zenodo. HeiCut is a state-of-the-art solver for computing exact minimum cuts in hypergraphs at scale. Please refer to the README for instructions on how to use the software and reproduce the results from the paper.

Changelog:

  • Added instruction for installing HeiCut in a path with no special characters if wishing to run the provided experimental/plotting scripts.
  • Added suggestion for installing full texlive package to support Tikz as required by our plotting scripts.
