evm-oracle-state v0.3.0
Releases evm-oracle-state 0.3.0 against evm-fork-cache 0.4.0 and alloy-transport-balancer 0.3.0, with Rust 1.90 as the minimum supported compiler.
The promoted opt-in pending-update channels remain separate from confirmed oracle snapshots. Handler installation, refresh, removal, and subscriber registration now await the cache's asynchronous lifecycle. Failed removal retains outstanding handler ids for retry. Reorgs revoke event-derived values even when the dropped anchor has aged out of the cache journal.
Validation passed: full tests and doctests, adapter/feature isolation, Clippy, documentation, a pinned OCR2 replay, the reactive smoke and Aave parity checks, the optimized 24-feed cold-start benchmark, downstream liquidation replays, and registry-only packaged-source verification. No live oracle update arrived during the 60-second smoke window. Dependency advisory scopes are recorded in SECURITY.md.

evm-oracle-state v0.3.0-alpha.2
This is the supported alpha for the opt-in pending oracle update channel. It lets searchers simulate oracle-dependent actions before a candidate transaction lands while keeping speculative updates completely separate from confirmed oracle state and reconciliation.
Highlights:
- Reuses the feeds already registered through OracleRuntime; no second feed subscription is required.
- Decodes Chainlink OCR2 direct, secondary, and forwarded transmissions with signed-envelope validation, deduplication, and committed-log correlation.
- Includes Ethereum mainnet sources for Alchemy full pending transactions and Flashbots MEV-Share behind explicit feature gates.
- Exposes transaction hashes, calldata, ordering material, proposed values, source observations, and lifecycle outcomes for downstream simulation and bundle construction.
- Adds public adapter, source, transport-identity, and chain-configuration seams for future oracle families and networks.
- Corrects the transport-test feature gate found during the hosted isolated-feature release check; all eight isolated features and the complete Rust 1.88 validation job are green.
Current scope and limitations:
- Experimental and disabled by default.
- Built-in presets are Ethereum mainnet only; other chains require explicit custom configuration and a compatible source.
- The built-in decoder covers registered Chainlink OCR2 feeds only.
- Pending visibility is best effort and never guarantees completeness, inclusion, success, or sufficient lead time.
- The crate observes and classifies candidates; it does not simulate strategies, sign transactions, or submit bundles.
See the pending-oracle guide and compile-checked example for setup and operational guidance.
Superseded: evm-oracle-state v0.3.0-alpha.1
Superseded by v0.3.0-alpha.2.
The alpha.1 library and published documentation compiled successfully, but the first hosted release run later exposed a test-only isolated-feature Clippy gate that was not clean. The corrected gate and the complete hosted Rust 1.88 matrix are green in alpha.2. The alpha.1 crate is yanked from crates.io; use alpha.2.
evm-oracle-state v0.2.0
First public release. Adds reactive Chainlink-compatible oracle tracking, reconciliation, overlay reads and mocks, typed price policies, and feature-gated Aave, Morpho, Euler, Pyth, and RedStone adapters.
