APC v1.2.0 — "MANIFEST DESTINY"
One bug. One fix. No ceremony.
What broke and why
Some games declare custom permissions using a mixed-case version of their own package name — not the lowercase package ID you'd expect. This was reported by a user on reddit and then i asked them to make an issue, it was issue #17 which should be closed by this release.
Walkabout Mini Golf is a good example (and its the one that brought it to my attention through the reddit user):
package: com.mightycoconut.walkaboutminigolf
permission declared as: com.MightyCoconut.WalkaboutMiniGolf.DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION
APC was renaming the package just fine, but those <permission> declarations? Untouched. So the renamed APK showed up still claiming a permission that the original Horizon+ install already owned, and Android threw:
INSTALL_FAILED_DUPLICATE_PERMISSION: Package com.apc.MightyCoconut.WalkaboutMiniGolf attempting
to redeclare permission com.MightyCoconut.WalkaboutMiniGolf.DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION
already owned by com.MightyCoconut.WalkaboutMiniGolf
The fix: the manifest editor now does a case-insensitive pass over the entire manifest after its targeted replacements. com.MightyCoconut.WalkaboutMiniGolf is the same package as com.mightycoconut.walkaboutminigolf — APC knows that now. Same fix applied to string constants in smali, where permission names can also appear.
Bug fixes
INSTALL_FAILED_DUPLICATE_PERMISSIONon games with mixed-case permission names — manifest<permission>and<uses-permission>declarations are now renamed with a case-insensitive match, so any capitalization of the old package name gets caught and updated. Smali string constants get the same treatment.

What is this thing
APC renames Android APK package names so you can sideload games you own through Horizon+ alongside a fresh Rookie install without them fighting over the same package ID. Drop an APK in, pick a rename mode, get a renamed and re-signed APK back out. OBBs get renamed automatically. No command line, no Java wrangling.
