AttriKit for iOS 2.7.1
Privacy manifest changed (read before upgrading)
- AttriKitCore's privacy manifest now declares Coarse Location (linked; Analytics, App
Functionality, Developer Advertising) and Purchase History (linked; Analytics, App Functionality,
Developer Advertising). Product Interaction adds Developer Advertising, in AttriKitCore and
AttriKitSuperwall. Their tracking flags stay off. The first open has always carried the device's
region and arrived from an IP address AttriKit derives a country from, and purchase events have
always gone through Core, but the manifest declared neither. Xcode's privacy report will now list
both. - The App Store answers under "What your app must declare" in the README changed. AttriKit's servers
send the events you map to a connected Meta, TikTok or Google destination together with match
keys, so Device ID, Product Interaction, Coarse Location, Purchase History, Email Address and
Phone Number are now marked as used for tracking for the destinations that receive them. A new
section lists what each destination receives. The manifest's tracking flags stay off because that
use depends on the destinations you connect, which the binary cannot know. If your app has any of
those destinations connected, re-check every tracking answer you filed.
Unchanged
- No API, wire or behaviour change.
