Fixed

  • Rollback no longer follows directory links or Windows junctions into files outside the workspace; unsafe linked paths stop the run rather than altering external targets.
  • Deleting an existing test, removing or changing its assertions, dropping a case, or marking one skipped requires explicit --approve-test-changes approval. Adding tests, appending cases, and editing imports or formatting do not. Swarm children cannot grant themselves broader test-change authority than their parent.
  • Changes an agent commits are checked like any other change; a blocked commit is rewound and its files restored.
  • Ignored secret and denied-path files are checked for edits and deletions, including same-size content changes; blocked changes are restored only when the original state can be authenticated.
  • Writes to secret and key files (.env and .env.* other than templates, *.pem, *.key, *.p12, *.pfx, SSH private keys) stop the run unless the file is named explicitly in --allow-path.
  • An edit run that changes no files now carries a warning in its verified handoff.
  • Capturing the pre-attempt state no longer fails on repositories with very large git-ignored directories.
  • Failed Claude Code sessions, including terminal is_error results, cannot be passed to a green verifier and reported as successfully completed. Provider-reported cost remains recorded when available.
  • Malformed verifier commands are rejected consistently in MCP preflight and the CLI, instead of returning misleading readiness.
  • Rollback failures and unavailable restoration are reported explicitly; the CLI no longer claims an unchanged workspace without evidence.

Security boundary

  • MartinLoop governs observed repository changes and its own rollback operations. It does not provide an operating-system sandbox for an arbitrary provider process launched with host-level filesystem access. Use an isolated sandbox where outside-repository writes must be prevented.
