New Release! Enhanced Alerting Configuration! 🔔

Streamlined how you manage alerts, giving you more control with a cleaner configuration!

Here's what's been updated:

  • Simplified Global Alert Toggles: Managing your alert systems is now easier than ever! You can now enable or disable Home Assistant, ntfy, and Gotify alerts globally with the $enableWebhookAlerts, $enableNtfyAlerts, and $enableGotifyAlerts flags at the top of the script. A simple change there applies to all your monitored instances by default.

  • Per-Instance Alert Overrides: Need specific alert settings for a particular service? No problem! You can now override the global alert flags on a per-instance basis. Just add flags like SendWebhook = $false directly within the instance's definition. This gives you the flexibility to fine-tune which alerts are sent for each application.

  • Clear Alert Settings in Logs: For better transparency and troubleshooting, the script now logs the active alert settings (Webhook, ntfy, Gotify) right before sending out any notifications. This makes it easy to verify where your alerts are being sent.

This release is all about making your monitoring experience even more adaptable and a breeze to use! I truly hope these enhancements empower you to keep your self-hosted world running like a charm.

As always, please report any issues you encounter. Happy monitoring!🎉

New Release! Individual Retry Counts and Expanded Alert Options! 🎉

Hey everyone, a new release is here with some exciting improvements focused on flexibility and better notifications!

Here's what's new:

  • Individual Retry Count: You now have control over how many times it will be retry before reporting failed. Just configure the RetryCount option for each instance.

  • Skip Retry: With the new RetryCount if set to 0 it will turns off retries and go straight to sending an alert. This is perfect for those services where retries aren't possible.

  • More Alerting Options! Significantly expanded the ways you can receive alerts:

    • NTFY Integration: For those not in the Home Assistant ecosystem, you can now send alerts via NTFY! Enjoy its simplicity and wide platform support.
    • Gotify Integration: Another fantastic open-source push notification server is now supported. Get your alerts delivered reliably with Gotify.
    • Send to One or Multiple Alerts: The power is in your hands! Configure your alerts to be sent to a single service or broadcast them to multiple simultaneously. This allows you to tailor notifications to different channels as needed.

This release aims to provide a more adaptable and user-friendly experience for everyone.

As always, please report any issues you encounter. Happy monitoring!
