First release of derust, a fast, free and open source alternative to CleanMyMac.

System Junk: user and system caches, logs, Xcode leftovers, broken launch agents and iOS backups, with per-item selection
Disk Explorer: scan your whole disk, browse it by size and remove files and folders
Applications: uninstall apps together with their leftover files
Everything goes to the Trash, and every item has Reveal in Finder

A full scan of about 2.3 million files takes around 10 seconds on an M4 Pro. The app is a universal build for both Apple silicon and Intel.

Download derust-0.1.0-macos.dmg, drag derust to Applications, then run once:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/derust.app

The app isn't notarized yet, so macOS blocks it until the quarantine flag is removed.

For complete scan results, grant Full Disk Access in System Settings → Privacy & Security.
