  • Major changes: native image by default
    • Native image cuts memory footprint by almost half
    • A launcher script will attempt to start the native build and fall back to jvm if it fails
    • A runtime file in the config directory chooses auto, native or jvm when SYSAPI_RUNTIME is not set.
    • The separate native docker tags are no longer published.
    • Fix: The native image starts on CPUs without AVX2, such as the Celeron and Atom J-series.
  • Windows fixes:
    • Windows CPU temperature, fan and voltage come from OSHI reading a running OpenHardwareMonitor or LibreHardwareMonitor 0.9.4.
    • The bundled OpenHardwareMonitor and jni4net libraries and the enableOhmJniWrapper are removed.
    • Fix: The Windows installer is now more robust across upgrades
    • Fix: Stopping the sys-api Windows service from services.msc should no longer fail.
  • Update OSHI to 7.7.2.
