Open Jet: major agent and runtime upgrade

This release turns Open Jet into a much more autonomous local agent. The core agent loop now manages context more reliably, uses tools more consistently, and keeps working until it is interrupted or the requested result is reached. In practice, that means fewer stalled runs, less manual recovery, and better long-running task execution.

New features

  • Autonomous agent execution: the agent can continue operating across multi-step tasks, using tools and updating context without dropping state partway through a run.
  • Stronger context management: conversation state, runtime state, and execution history are handled more cleanly, which reduces context corruption and makes longer sessions much more stable.
  • Better tool orchestration: tool calls and executor behavior were improved so the agent can act on results, continue to the next step, and complete workflows with less intervention.
  • Dynamic model offloading: added support for offloading model work more intelligently, improving usability on constrained hardware.
  • Swap-based llama runtime support: new swap management components make large-model handling more practical on devices with limited memory.
  • Easier setup and provisioning: setup now handles model download and provisioning more directly, with a cleaner first-run path.
  • Better support beyond Jetson: setup and hardware detection now work better on desktop and laptop Linux systems, including Vulkan-backed llama.cpp builds.
  • Safer model configuration: stale or missing model paths are validated before reuse, avoiding broken runs caused by invalid local config.
  • Improved runtime UX: command handling and runtime interaction are smoother, making the app feel more like a persistent working agent instead of a fragile chat loop.

Also improved

  • New runtime guides for OpenAI-compatible backends and OpenRouter.
  • Expanded installation, quickstart, configuration, telemetry, CLI, and SDK documentation.
  • Much broader test coverage across app flow, runtime protocol, config, swap behavior, harnesses, and executor tools.
