✨ Features

  • Watch together: host a session and share a 6-digit code (or a link) so friends can watch the same video in sync, wherever they are
  • Session chat with a live activity log, which can also pop out into its own window
  • The host decides who can play, pause, seek and change the speed, and can remove or unban people
  • Guests see the host's captions and seek-bar previews
  • Live connection info for everyone (download and upload speed, loaded video, stalls), so it's clear why someone is buffering
  • timeline://join/<code> links open Timeline and fill in the join code for you
  • A passive tasks panel that shows what Timeline is working on at the bottom
  • Exact frame-by-frame stepping

⚡ Improvements

  • Faster folder loading: files are now prepared in parallel (a test folder of 60 files went from 2.4 s to 1.3 s)
  • Faster seek-bar previews, using more of your CPU in parallel
  • The Logs page is smoother, even with big logs

  • The player settings menu now opens smoothly the first time
  • Timeline now opens in front of your other windows

🛠 Fixes

  • The folder list now stays correct when you delete, rename or add several files at once
  • Opening a video from Explorer no longer briefly plays the previous video first
