vphone 2.14.2
vphone 2.14.2
Core Bundle
- Clicks reach the guest again in a VM window larger than 100%. Since 2.14.0 the window measured clicks against the panel at its 100% size, so in an enlarged window (resized, or restored from a saved frame) clicks landed off target or were clamped to the edge and sent as edge swipes. This showed up as dead clicks after resizing an Apple Watch window and after folding an iPhone Duo whose window was enlarged. Folding itself never broke touch in the guest. (#785)
Launchpad 2.14.2
- No source changes besides the version. No argument or output Launchpad uses, bundle layout, receipt or escalator changed, so the 2.14 series stays interchangeable both ways and the minimum bundle stays 2.14.0. The helper is unchanged (build 21).
vphone-launchpad-2.14.2.zipis built by CI and not notarized; macOS blocks it the first time you open it (see Downloads).vphone-launchpad-2.14.0-notarized.zipkeeps working with this bundle.
Upgrading
In Launchpad's Core Bundle page, install VPhone.bundle 2.14.2 and bind your machines to it. The fix is in the VM window on the host; no guest environment update is needed.
Validation
- CI builds the Release
VPhonescheme and Launchpad, runs bundle admission, and checks bothvphone-escalatorslices before attaching the files. - Checked on an iPhone Duo guest (iOS 27.1) with the same change built from #787: in a window at about 1.3×,
display.geometry'sdisplay_rectmatched the view's bounds on the cover, after opening and after closing again (before: a 466×678 corner of a 620×902 view), and taps reached apps after folds both ways. - Not checked: real mouse clicks (the check above reads the same geometry they use) and an Apple Watch guest, which uses the same window code.
