vphone 2.15.2
A localization and documentation release. Nothing changes in how Launchpad and VPhone.bundle work together.
Core Bundle
- Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese have no missing strings in the VM window, its menus and panels (149 strings each, including the HomePod, HomeView, foldable and Apple TV remote controls).
- Simplified Chinese reviewed in full: consistent terms (App, 存储, 虚拟机, 客户机, 宗卷), Apple's own wording, and the missing strings filled in.
- Four strings that meant two things now translate separately: the foldable "Open" posture, the UDID alert's "Set" button, the keyboard panel's "Type" button, and the kernelcache caption in New Machine. English text is unchanged.
vm config --helpand the--iperror name the network nat machines use by default, 192.168.65.0/24 (192.168.64.0/24 with--nat-peers off).
Launchpad 2.15.2
- Same translation work for Launchpad's own strings.
vphone-launchpad-2.15.2.zipis built by CI and not notarized; macOS blocks it the first time you open it (see Downloads). A notarized build follows.- The 2.15 series stays interchangeable both ways; the minimum bundle stays 2.15.0 and the helper is unchanged (build 21).
Documentation
- The user guides are split into one page per subject (templates, firmware preparation, library and backups, networking topics, Core Bundles), indexed by subject in Documents.
- Corrected: the default NAT subnet, the notarization table in Downloads, the guest component list, and the translated READMEs' guide lists.
Validation
- Debug
VPhoneandVPhoneLaunchpadschemes build locally; the bundle carries all five localizations. - Every new or changed translation was reviewed by a second model; Apple platform terms follow Apple's own localization.
