Changes

  • The launcher now runs natively on Wayland.
  • New Public Dev tab in Settings, with an optional GPU rendering mode for NVIDIA on Linux. It is off by default and restarts the launcher when changed.
  • Links now open in your browser on Windows.
  • On Linux, Minecraft now runs as its own app with its own icon.
  • Fixed the missing launcher icon on Wayland.

If the launcher opens blank after turning on GPU rendering, start it with LEATHER_SOFTWARE_RENDERING=1 and turn the option back off.

Downloads

Windows: LeatherClient-Setup.exe is the installer. The .msi and the Tauri/NSIS archives with their signatures are for the updater.

Linux: use the x86_64 AppImage, Debian package or RPM. The Flatpak source tarball is for the Flathub build.
