v1.5.2 — Smarter Requests Discovery
What's New
Requests Tab — Background Caching
The Requests tab now caches your discovery pool to the database, so after your first visit it loads instantly — even after server restarts. When the cache gets stale (6+ hours), the old results are served immediately while a fresh pool builds in the background.
Massively Expanded Discovery Pool
The candidate pool before library filtering has grown significantly:
- Genres: Top 8 genres × 10 popularity pages + 5 vote_average pages (hidden gems pass)
- Keywords: Top 20 keywords × 3 pages each
- People: Top 20 actors and 12 directors (movie + TV)
- Trending: 5 pages each for movies and TV
- Anime: 8 discovery pages
- Pool storage: Increased to 300 top picks / 400 movies / 300 TV / 150 anime
The new vote_average-sorted pass is specifically designed for large libraries — it surfaces well-regarded films that didn't trend mainstream and are more likely to be missing from your collection.
Requests Page
Added a note that your first visit may take a minute to process while the pool builds.
