The Intel (x86_64) compatibility build has been successfully tested by a user on an Intel Mac running macOS 13.

• Intel x86_64: user-tested on macOS 13.
• Apple Silicon ARM64: packaged and statically validated, but not tested on macOS 13.
• Both packaged binaries declare macOS 12.3 as their minimum.
• macOS 12.3+ has not yet been confirmed by a separate real-system test.
• The application ZIPs are unchanged from the original compatibility candidate; SHA-256 files and validation reports remain attached.
• The app is ad-hoc signed, not Developer ID signed or Apple-notarized.

The same compatibility ZIPs are also attached to the main v0.4.1 release.

Prepare cabinet IRs, fit hybrid FIR/IIR models and create selectable Zoom ZDL banks. This release contains the original Windows 0.4.1 packages and native macOS builds. The Intel (x86_64) compatibility package has been successfully tested by a user on an Intel Mac running macOS 13. The ARM64 compatibility package has not been tested on macOS 13. macOS 12.3+ remains an unconfirmed compatibility target pending separate real-system testing.

Install and update

Windows: extract the complete ZIP and run Install_HYBRIDIR.cmd. For normal use leave TI compilation disabled. Launch Start_HYBRIDIR.cmd from the installed folder. Before updating, close the app, use the same flavor/channel, and retain backups. These are ZIP setup packages, not signed EXE/MSI installers.

macOS: extract the matching ZIP with Archive Utility, drag HYBRID IR.app to Applications and open it. Python, Tcl/Tk and dependencies are included; no separate Python or Homebrew is needed. To update, quit the app, back up your data and replace the whole .app. Remove the .app to uninstall; personal data and settings remain.

Mac security: ad-hoc signed, not Developer ID signed and not notarized by Apple. If you trust and verify this download, follow the application-specific System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway route when offered. Do not globally disable Gatekeeper or bypass malware/damage warnings. Download/quarantine acceptance was not part of CI validation. Apple guidance.

Changes in 0.4.1

• The patcher automatically selects the hash-paired HIR3A passport; normal Patch ZDL (no TI) needs no TI compiler.
• Windows Lite and Standalone contain the same application for their revision. Only HIR3A is shipped as the runtime template.
• K-weighted, K + band, K + Pink and K + Pink + band normalization are available. These weight the IR response; this is not a gated LUFS meter.
• Preparation defaults can be saved, loaded and restored after restart. Failed saves no longer report success.
• Empty authoring banks open correctly; empty exports remain rejected before writing output.
• Zoom WAV import uses current preparation settings, including restored defaults.
• Portable banks retain original audio without silently changing saved fitted models.
• Public packaging includes passport/preparation modules and installer helpers, and supports a standalone repository or the development subdirectory.

macOS validation and compatibility

The original macOS packages were validated on native Apple Silicon and Intel macOS 15.7.9. The Intel (x86_64) compatibility package has now been successfully tested by a user on an Intel Mac running macOS 13. The ARM64 compatibility package has not been tested on macOS 13. Both compatibility builds declare a minimum of macOS 12.3; 12.3+ remains an unconfirmed compatibility target pending separate real-system testing. Existing automated checks cover startup, GUI, data round trips, K-weighted modes, saved defaults, FIR training and HIR3A export. Audible playback, prolonged hands-on use and physical pedal installation remain separate checks.

Source identity: use the matching Mac source ZIP for these apps (public tree cda024d817dd184417b4c18a9f4bc6898b67aeac). The original v0.4.1 tag and GitHub's automatic Source code archives still refer to the original Windows release; they have not been retagged. Each application ZIP also has an adjacent .sha256 asset.

Known Windows 0.4.1 issue: the original Standalone can fail to uninstall beneath AppData. Its development correction is not included retroactively in these unchanged Windows ZIPs; delivery requires a later Windows package release. See the full guide before attempting removal.

Hardware and licenses

Original HIR3A SHA-256: 14f605e66ea0ca24a1bd0b0873cb15b8dbaf900290ffe78f9f6cb60c99b0f9d4.
User-reported MS-70CDR checks covered operation, parameter persistence and patched exports. New banks/chains require checking; host tests do not measure C674 execution time. Two long IRs with an amplifier can overload DSP. The 28,904-byte code+const gate is template-specific, not a general pedal limit.

Project code is MIT. Keep THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md and included licenses; stock-derived runtime material and user IRs retain separate rights. Support development on Ko-fi or Patreon.

Изменения в 0.4.1

HYBRID IR 0.4.1-rc1 - Lite and Standalone Windows preview

I am providing two Windows x64 downloads: Standalone includes Python and dependencies (offline installation); Lite requires Python 3.14 x64 with Tk and py launcher and downloads dependencies. Extract the entire ZIP and run Install_HYBRIDIR.cmd. Do not use the automatically generated Source code archives as an installer. Updates require the same channel and flavor; use separate folders to switch. Personal IRs, banks and projects are preserved by the receipt-based uninstaller. This is a packaging preview, not a signed EXE/MSI. Actual Windows install/update/uninstall and isolated-runtime checks passed; clean-machine and manual acceptance remain pending. DSP and template bytes are unchanged; no new pedal validation is claimed. English, Russian and Ukrainian installation guides and third-party notices are included. SHA256 files accompany both archives.
