Approve a multi-agent workflow as a whole — reviewing each call, or the
first call of each phase, is no longer an option. Skip or retry individual
agents from live progress. Restart any 0.40.6 run you left waiting on that
review.
Features
Use longer ChatGPT subscription context windows — the CLI, extension,
and desktop app now let you raise the input token budget for supported GPT
models while keeping the standard limit by default.
Choose skills per workspace — the extension, desktop app, and CLI now let
you enable or disable individual skills and skill source groups from one
consolidated skills display. Skills are off by default until you enable the
master skills switch.
See the whole workflow plan while it runs — phases that have not started
yet stay visible, running agents show what they are doing, and work that
needs you is listed first. The progress view and CLI show the same picture.
Run more workflow agents in parallel — multi-agent workflows follow the
same parallel-work limit as other child agents. That limit now defaults to
this computer's CPU count instead of four; you can still set a number.
Bug Fixes
Google model runs no longer hang — they time out instead of waiting
forever, and a brief background glitch no longer fails the turn.
Workflow resumes and compile checks stay trustworthy — completed work is
reused after you edit or reorder the script, and a workflow that rejects
uncompilable output now fails on the last round instead of adding an extra
one.
A restarted workflow shows only the current attempt — tasks from an
earlier try no longer mix into live progress.
GLM Coding Plan and custom GLM URLs apply where you configured them —
running a model and checking usage now use the same connection.
A bad key lookup no longer hides your other providers — TeXRA keeps
checking the rest and reports the failure instead of looking unconfigured.
You cannot continue a finished run that still has child agents — TeXRA
refuses the follow-up instead of taking a message it cannot run.
Long sessions stay stable — TeXRA no longer keeps growing memory as a
session continues.
Elapsed time only counts active work — waiting time is no longer included
after you resume.
Sign-in copy says “TeXRA account” — remaining Researcher Access wording
on sign-in, setup, and the CLI now uses that name.
Extension (VS Code) and Desktop
Bug Fixes
Polish results return to the view you started from — they no longer
appear in a different progress view.
Approval cards show the model's usual name — not a raw model id.
Delete actions for generated files say what they remove — including
latexdiff copies.
Settings and progress stay usable in a small pane — tabs wrap, keyboard
and screen-reader labels are accurate, and reduced-motion and right-to-left
layouts work.
Starting a run and walkthrough buttons keep working — an info message no
longer blocks desktop launch, and walkthrough steps that need a folder now
say so.
Desktop
Bug Fixes
You can see pending approvals with the sidebar closed — a badge appears,
and an approval on another task opens the sidebar once. Setup dialogs have
buttons you can click, and the Tasks count matches the list you see.
CLI
Features
Inspect a running workflow without leaving the conversation — Enter opens
it as phase tabs over the chat. Switch phases, jump to failures, skip or
retry a call, or open that agent; Esc returns you to the parent.
Account and model access are one list — the launcher and /api, /login, and /logout all open it.
/goal chooses what Goal may auto-approve — commands only, or all agent
work. Finished to-dos collapse so current work stays visible, and the
terminal tab stops spinning when the session is idle.
Bug Fixes
Saving a GLM key explains the Coding Plan — the row is labelled for both
regular GLM and the Coding Plan, and a note tells you how to turn the plan
on.
The status bar stays readable and the running cost stays correct — the
queued-input warning is not squeezed out on a narrow terminal, and long
conversations keep an accurate spend.
