First public MobileCAD build: parametric CAD for Android phones and tablets, running FreeCAD's modelling engine on the device.

Install: download MobileCAD-arm64.apk on your phone or tablet (Android 8 or newer, about 1 GB free: the CAD engine is unpacked on first start). MobileCAD-x86_64.apk is for emulators.

Highlights

  • Opens FreeCAD .FCStd projects: Part Design, Sketcher, Part, Assembly, FEM, BIM, Draft, TechDraw and more
  • Every feature stays editable; failed features show the last good model in transparent red
  • Layouts for phones, tablets and foldables; light and dark themes

Source code: this repository plus the archives below: FreeCAD at the commit built (freecad-e95a31c.tar.gz) with our patch, and the (L)GPL dependencies we built (Open CASCADE, Qt, Gmsh, CalculiX + SPOOLES, MED, IfcOpenShell). Checksums are in SHA256SUMS.
