• The picture-reading credits detector is gone. 7.0 sampled its own video frame near the end of a title and ran bundled OCR over it, hoping to spot a credits roll that had no marker. It rarely fired on real streams and it shipped a whole text-recognition model to do it, so it is removed outright - dependency, detector, sampler and tests. The end-of-item offer is back to the two things that work: the IntroDB credits marker and the timed fallback below.
• "Play Next Episode" shows 45 seconds before the end, not 15. With no credits marker the pill now appears with 45 seconds still to run and counts down to the real end, instead of turning up in the last breath of the episode. A five-second settle guard stops a fresh stream's opening frames from reporting the previous episode's near-end position, which used to raise the offer at the start of the next episode and skip that episode on the spot.
• The end offer has a Cancel button. Play Next Episode / Skip Credits now sit in a row with Cancel, so the offer can be refused from the remote without backing out of the episode; Back still refuses it as before. Skip Intro/Recap/Preview stay a single button, since those are one action with nothing to cancel.
• The pill buttons are smaller and their labels are no longer bold. The buttons drop to 38dp with tighter padding, and the label is drawn white over a soft dark halo instead of a black keyline - the stroke was painted across the glyphs, so every letter came out visibly thicker than the font's own weight.

Continue Watching and Favourites

• Holding OK on a poster names the list it comes off. The Series poster's lead row blends Continue Watching, Up Next and Favourites under one "Continue Watching" heading, and the hold menu always claimed "Remove from Continue Watching" - under a poster that was only there because it had been starred, where it removed nothing. The menu now lists every one of those lists the show is actually in: Remove from Favourites, Remove from Up Next, Remove from Continue Watching, each running the removal that row already had. Home's Continue Watching and Recently Played shelves and the category grids keep their own menus, and the Films lead now offers the Continue Watching removal Home's does (it used to star the film instead).
• A Continue Watching removal reaches Trakt now. The delete only fired when the title resolved to a TMDB id matching a paused entry; with no TMDB key, an unresolvable title, or a season number the panel spelled differently, no request was sent at all and the title came straight back from trakt.tv. The match now falls back to the entry's own title (and year, for films) - the same identity the row is labelled with - so the paused entry goes even when the id path cannot answer. Unticking an episode's watched mark keeps the strict id match, so it never drops its siblings' resume points.
• Favourites opens the title instead of an empty pane. The rail counts favourites from the tab's own list while the grid paged the catalogue database, which does not hold every favourited title - so "Favourites (1)" could sit above "No titles in this category". The grid now resolves from the same list the count comes from (the database page stays as the fallback for a title outside the preview set), and the empty state clears the grid before it draws, so it can no longer float over the shelves it replaced.
