For a quick test, add two mods, remove one and press Undo. Then save a named snapshot in Pack Lab. Does that make experimenting with a pack easier? Catalog search works without an AI account.

Modspire is looking for testers

Modspire is a local-first Minecraft Java modpack planning studio for Windows. Search Modrinth, compare mods and keep separate pack projects. AI assistance is optional; catalog search needs no AI account.

Try the interactive demo · Download the portable Windows app · Read the guide

What to try first

1. Pick your Minecraft version and loader.
2. Search for a mod and switch between list and cards.
3. Add and remove candidates, then reopen the project.
4. Try another UI layout or theme and check readability.

What feedback would help?

Which step feels confusing or takes too many clicks? Include the app version, UI mode/theme, expected behavior and what happened. Report reproducible failures in Issues; use this thread for first impressions and workflow ideas.

This is a community test build. The browser demo uses sample data. Modspire does not install a loader or guarantee that a pack launches; AI and crash explanations require review. Original code is MIT licensed, and a bundled sign-in component has separate noncommercial terms. AI tools have been used in development and promotional materials.

If it helps your workflow, share the live preview with another pack creator. Thanks for testing.
