Follow the Skill path
A Skill can exist on disk through a symbolic link, yet an agent's discovery behavior may vary. check-agent now identifies symbolic links along the selected expected path when SKILL.md is found. It reports file presence, not whether an agent has loaded the Skill, and does not change the exit status or modify files.
node src/cli.js check-agent --agent claude-code --skill my-skill --scope projectReplace my-skill with the directory name; use --cwd to select a project. The output can include multiple link paths. The check does not launch Claude Code. The upstream discussion contains version-specific reports; it does not establish behavior across versions.

This source ZIP contains the code, documentation, examples, and checks. Verify its SHA-256 using the accompanying file. Node.js 20+ is required for the CLI.
