HawkEye 1.4.2 for Windows.

Update Now downloads the new version, installs it and reopens HawkEye on its own. Every installer is signed, and HawkEye checks the signature before it installs anything.

Improved:

  • Update Now installs the new version by itself. The update link is short enough for HawkEye’s update service to store, so it reaches every install.

Fixed:

  • Update Now opened the download page instead of installing the update.
  • After a one-click update, HawkEye clears the copy of the updater it leaves in your temp folder.

Security:

  • Every update is checked against HawkEye’s release signature before it installs. An installer without it, changed in any way, or signed for another version is refused.
