MTT File Manager v0.2.5 Beta
Improvements
-
Tabs can now be reordered by dragging them along the tab bar, with a drop indicator showing the insertion point while the active tab follows its new position. Two new shortcuts, "Move tab left" and "Move tab right" (Ctrl+Shift+PageUp / Ctrl+Shift+PageDown by default), move the active tab one position at a time; both are configurable in Settings → Shortcuts.
-
Images can now be converted between formats directly from the context menu. Right-clicking a single image file offers a "Convert" submenu with PNG, JPEG, WebP, BMP, TIFF, and PDF targets, with the current format disabled. The converted file is saved next to the original with an automatic unique name on collisions ("image (2).png"), the work runs in the background so the UI stays responsive, and a notification plus automatic folder refresh confirm the result.
-
Quick Access can now be shown as a horizontal bar instead of the sidebar section. A new "Quick Access position" choice in Settings → General selects between "Sidebar (vertical)" and "Horizontal bar". The bar displays folder chips under the toolbar, supports drag-and-drop reordering, pins a folder when one is dropped onto it, scrolls horizontally when chips overflow, and reveals full folder names as tooltips when labels are truncated.
-
Added hover tooltips to Quick Access: the sidebar's pin icon now shows "Remove from Quick Access", and truncated folder names reveal their full name on hover.
