maski 0.3.0
Added
- The preview opens with a banner: the command path in the heading color, its
usage (arguments and flags, verboseleft out) and its description in bold,
then a rule. The description is the blockquote under the heading; an alert
such as> [!NOTE]is never mistaken for it. - Code blocks in the preview are framed, with their language in the top
border, like┌ bash ──┐. Lines too wide for the panel are cut with…so
the frame stays intact. - Code blocks are syntax highlighted (bash, sh, zsh, js, python, lua, ruby,
php, batch). Other languages stay uncolored. examples/langs.md, a sample maskfile with one task per language mask can
run.- A
releasetask at the top ofexamples/maskfile.mdthat shows every
element the preview renders in one screen. - Prebuilt binaries on each GitHub release: static Linux x86_64 and aarch64
(any distribution), macOS Apple Silicon and Intel. The README explains the
one-line install.
Changed
- The Nix package for Linux is a static musl binary: its runtime closure is the
binary alone (5.6 MiB instead of 51.5 MiB). Its store path name now ends with
-static-x86_64-unknown-linux-musl. macOS is unchanged. - Code in the preview uses the terminal's default color instead of gray.
- md4x is pinned to v0.0.26, its last release written in C.
Removed
cargo install maskifrom the README: the crate is not published on
crates.io.
Fixed
- Links in the preview no longer show stray characters around their text:
md4x wraps them in OSC 8 hyperlink sequences that skim cannot display. - With the preview above or below the list (
--preview down, the default, or
up), a short list no longer leaves a blank gap: the preview takes every row
the list does not need, and a long list still gets half the screen.
