MCP servers still failed to load on a fresh install. With 0.2.4 declaring smolagents[mcp], pip resolved mcp 2.2.0; mcpadapt 0.1.20 (the latest, and smolagents' MCP bridge) imports streamablehttp_client, which mcp 2.x renamed, and declares no upper bound on mcp. 0.2.4's fail-closed loader surfaced it on the first live run instead of silently dropping the tools. smoltrace now requires mcp>=1.10.1,<2; verified against a live MCP server with mcp 1.30.0.
