v0.17.0

English

• Promo badges in the model picker. Free models show FREE and discounted models show the discount, localized to your UI language; a badge disappears when its promotion ends.
• The Command Code settings row has its own icon. It no longer shares the generic gear with other unknown sections.
• Model catalog update. Added the free stealth model Crouton Alpha (1M context, image input, five reasoning-effort levels, from the Go plan). Ling 3.1 Flash 1019's free window has ended and it is now shown at its paid price.
• More reliable web search. Transient connection failures are retried, and real failures name the cause, target address and elapsed time instead of a bare fetch failed.
