Release list
mathjslab-markdown 0.8.3
- Repair six figure openings and one exercise opening in the Portuguese digital
electronics introduction. Keep titles/labels on one line with formatter
protection; preserve the documented grammar and missing-reference
diagnostics. - Audit the complete example catalogue before/after formatting and add real
URL-loaded document browser checks for cross-references and settled
navigation. - Include
example/and its local resources in npm packages and verify their
presence. General documentation continues to live in the repository.
Validation: complete pre-publication gates, production build, distribution and package checks; 322 real Markdown examples audited before/after formatting. Windows Chromium/Firefox/WebKit evidence covers 75 real-reference navigations plus 32 focused scroll navigations. Linux package release validation is linked in the repository Actions.
Linux package validation passed: https://github.com/MathJSLab/mathjslab-markdown/actions/runs/40061397866
mathjslab-markdown 0.8.2
Corrections
Fix molecular viewer initialization in browsers where OffscreenCanvas is absent or its WebGL2/bitmap path is unusable. 3Dmol now reaches the native HTML canvas WebGL2/WebGL1 fallback without a global shim or user-agent branch.
The private compatibility runtime is generated reproducibly from pinned 3Dmol 2.5.5 with a version/SHA-256 check. Its recipe and license ship with the package; consumer applications need no bundler plugin or install-time patch.
Validation
Windows: 12 real PDB/XYZ rendering cases in sequential Chromium/Firefox/WebKit runs, including native/absent capabilities, resizing and disposal; nine heading-reference cases / 36 settled navigations; ten targeted unit tests; all 22 distribution tests. Package verification covers 889 files and pinned HDL assets.
Linux: package build, integrity gates and all nine reference cases passed in the initial run. All 12 molecular cases passed in the final focused run, using Xvfb/Mesa for Firefox and headless Chromium/WebKit. No retries or weaker rendering assertions. Detailed scope is recorded in doc/molecule-3d-offscreen-canvas.md.
Consumers should update mathjslab-markdown to 0.8.2, refresh their lockfile and rebuild browser bundles. The 0.8.1 scrolling correction and HDL capabilities are preserved.
mathjslab-markdown 0.8.1
Corrections
- Defer fragment scrolling until the document is ready and its navigation layout has settled, preventing WebKit from leaving the heading above the viewport.
- Preserve smooth scrolling, reduced-motion preferences, internal links and accessible section announcements.
- Use live heading geometry for the active outline and cancel stale queued scrolls.
Validation
- Windows: Chromium, Firefox and WebKit; 72 cases and 288 settled navigations across pt/en/es, normal/reduced motion, large fonts/margins and nested scrollports/Shadow DOM.
- 618 unit tests, 21 distribution tests, lint, TypeScript and package integrity checks passed.
- Linux: 72 package cases / 288 navigations, nine application heading-reference tests, and six repeated Firefox image security cases passed without retries. CI evidence. The image cancellation was not reproduced; assertions remain intact.
Consumers should update mathjslab-markdown to 0.8.1 and rebuild their browser bundles. No application CSS workaround is required.
mathjslab-markdown 0.8.0
- Support explicit
{#label}anchors and{@ref label}references for
Markdown headings. Reuse manual decimal numbering in localized section
references; unnumbered headings use their title. No automatic section
numbering is added. - Explicit heading anchors take precedence over automatic slugs. When
cross-referencesis enabled, previously literal trailing heading labels
become metadata and replace the old text-derived anchors. Existing block
numbering and generated block IDs remain unchanged. - Preserve extension token walkers in strict security mode so explicit heading
metadata is processed consistently without disabling HTML escaping. - Add heading, anchor-conflict and navigation tests, distribution coverage with
real MathJax, and integrated examples in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
Validate 616 unit tests across 42 suites and 21 production distribution tests.
mathjslab-markdown 0.7.2
- Prioritize HDL schematics/waveforms and show localized execution status.
Place compiler logs and diagnostics in accessible collapsible details;
successful results start collapsed and errors/cancelled results start open. - Normalize terminal escape/control sequences for HDL log display and TXT/JSON
UI exports, without changing raw executor results or update callbacks.
Preserve incremental/final log replacement and interactive reset behavior. - Verify the published 0.7.1 presentation against the correction in real static
browsers: 173 checks across Chrome/Edge, including pt/en/es multiplexors,
new HDL sources, compiler errors, responsive details and exports. Preserve
compiler asset integrity and existing application authorization/configuration.
Validation: 596 unit tests, 21 distribution tests, and real Chrome/Edge presentation checks. Compiler assets and host authorization/configuration are unchanged.
