People Memory v0.1.0 — Developer Preview
People Memory v0.1.0 is a local developer preview of persistent relationship memory for AI assistants.
Included
- Local SQLite storage with source evidence and interaction history.
- MCP tools and a portable skill for assistant-driven automatic recording and natural-language recall.
- Identity checks, duplicate retry handling, corrections, undo, pause controls, export and backup.
- Read-only importer for the original People Match prototype.
- Connection guides for Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor.
- MIT license.
Install
Download people-memory-0.1.0.zip, extract it, and follow README.md. The Python package and command currently retain the names people-match-memory and people-match.
The wheel is an alternative for Python users. Install its MCP extra and follow the connection guide. No model API key is required by the package itself.
Preview limitations
Actual AI-app/model behavior has not yet been validated. The real MCP protocol integration and storage tests pass locally. Automatic recording depends on the host assistant calling tools and honoring the supplied instructions. This local stdio release is not a direct ChatGPT connector; remote hosting and authentication are not included. There is no GUI or automatic LinkedIn/X message sync.
Use fictional data for first-time setup. Personal databases and conversations are excluded from this release.
Verification
All 17 tests and package builds passed in GitHub Actions on macOS, Windows, and Linux with Python 3.10 and 3.12.
