• New async_verify_device(): returns True when register 77 can be read, also when it reads 0 (unpopulated on firmware such as 4.1.00), and False when the read fails. Use it to validate a Qube host instead of async_get_software_version(), which returns None for a 0 reading since 1.16.1.
