OnDevice Max 1.0.0 (75) — iOS 27 sideload IPA
iOS distribution update — October 1, 2026: Public IPA downloads have been retired as distribution moves to the App Store. Official App Store links will be shared when available. Historical release notes and source code remain available.
OnDevice Max 1.0.0 (75) is an early iOS 27 sideload build with reliability fixes for stopping, wiping, iCloud sync and model deletion, and a redesigned composer.
What changed
- Stop now also cancels requests that were waiting for a busy or loading model, so a queued message can't start after you stop.
- Wipe All Data clears memory facts, snippets and benchmark history that were already loaded, so wiped memories can't reach the next prompt.
- iCloud sync fetches every conversation instead of only the first 500, runs one sync at a time, and stops if sync is turned off mid-run.
- Deleting a model also unloads it when a conversation was using a non-default model, and keeps your selection if the delete fails.
- The composer uses the common two-row chat layout: the text lines up with the + button, the send button sits concentrically in the corner, tapping anywhere on the card focuses the text, and the empty composer is 98 pt tall instead of 120.
- All 27 Core AI catalog packs are pinned to exact Hugging Face revisions, and the Whisper pack follows its upstream move to the
ios-h18pbundle.
Validation: the Release archive, the catalog download check (27 of 27 packs) and the final IPA structure, signature and entitlement checks passed. Composer UI flows and package contract tests passed in the iOS Simulator. No physical-device inference test was performed for this build.
Package and signing
The IPA has only Payload/ at its root and contains OnDeviceMax.app plus its share extension. Both use version 1.0.0 (75), require iOS 27, and pass nested signature verification. Bundle identifiers are com.mesutcydev.ondevicemax and com.mesutcydev.ondevicemax.share.
This is a profile-less, ad-hoc-signed package for installer-side re-signing. The app's memory, extended virtual addressing, Private Cloud Compute, App Group, and iCloud entitlements are preserved, along with the share extension's App Group. They are identical to build 72. The installer must preserve the requested entitlements, and valid signing profiles must grant the relevant capabilities.
This build's source is published on the ondevice-max branch of this repository (commit 7a9bbc3). Model weights are downloaded separately and are not bundled in the IPA.

OnDevice Max 1.0.0 (72) — iOS 27 sideload IPA
iOS distribution update — October 1, 2026: Public IPA downloads have been retired as distribution moves to the App Store. Official App Store links will be shared when available. Historical release notes and source code remain available.
OnDevice Max 1.0.0 (72) is an early iOS 27 sideload build with improved model memory admission and bounded MLX context caches.
What changed
- RAM admission now uses a coherent process-footprint and available-memory snapshot, including zero-headroom handling.
- MLX model estimates account for installed tensor files, attention caches, recurrent state, prefill scratch space, and runtime reserves.
- Model loading and response generation recheck memory inside the shared MLX gate. Bounded attention caches are enforced for supported hybrid models.
- Memory-budget regression checks pass all 134 assertions; the device build and Release archive succeeded.
Large-model compatibility still depends on the device's actual available memory and the entitlements granted after signing. This build does not establish that MiMo-V2.6-Distill-Qwen-9B-OptiQ-4bit runs successfully on an iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Package and signing
The IPA has only Payload/ at its root and contains OnDeviceMax.app plus its share extension. Both use version 1.0.0 (72), require iOS 27, and pass nested signature verification. Bundle identifiers are com.mesutcydev.ondevicemax and com.mesutcydev.ondevicemax.share.

OnDevice Max 1.0.0 (71) — iOS 27 sideload IPA
iOS distribution update — October 1, 2026: Public IPA downloads have been retired as distribution moves to the App Store. Official App Store links will be shared when available. Historical release notes and source code remain available.
OnDevice Max 1.0.0 (build 71) is the newest OnDevice app for iOS 27+: the same on-device engine as OnDevice Core with a redesigned, calmer interface. Chat, camera Lens, voice conversations, image studio, model library, device status and a local API server, all running on the iPhone.
This build makes model handling smarter and safer. MLX chats now use each model's own chat template, checked token for token against the official prompts of 20 model families. A Thinking switch appears in the composer for models that can reason on request, and eight up-to-date personas sit in the chat's model menu. Models that do both chat and vision (Qwen 3.5, Gemma 3/4, Ministral 3) show up in Assistant and Lens, and Use no longer sends chat models to Lens. The memory check now trusts the per-app limit iOS actually reports and sizes models from the weights they really load, so a model that cannot fit is refused instead of the app being closed by iOS; the diagnostics export shows that limit and whether the memory entitlements are active. Also new: Qwen3.5 4B/9B and Llama 3.1 8B in the catalog, proper names for models imported as separate files, clear errors for incomplete Edge0 imports, and reasoning shown correctly for Qwen 3.5, DeepSeek-R1 and Gemma 4. It carries the fixes from the unreleased builds 65–70.
This is an early sideload build. It is built from the OnDevice Max fork of this codebase, which is not yet published as source. Model weights are downloaded separately and are not bundled in this IPA.
The 47,595,672-byte IPA contains only Payload/ at its root, including OnDeviceMax.app and OnDeviceMaxShare.appex. Bundle id com.mesutcydev.ondevicemax, minimum iOS 27.0. The app and extension are ad-hoc signed with the intended entitlements (increased-memory-limit, increased-debugging-memory-limit, extended-virtual-addressing, App Group, iCloud). An installer must re-sign the IPA with valid profiles for both the app and share extension before installation. iOS grants the larger per-app memory limit only when the provisioning profile authorises these entitlements, so make sure they survive re-signing.

OnDevice Max 1.0.0 (64) — iOS 27 sideload IPA
iOS distribution update — October 1, 2026: Public IPA downloads have been retired as distribution moves to the App Store. Official App Store links will be shared when available. Historical release notes and source code remain available.
OnDevice Max 1.0.0 (build 64) is the newest OnDevice app for iOS 27+: the same on-device engine as OnDevice Core with a redesigned, calmer interface. Chat, camera Lens, voice conversations, image studio, model library, device status and a local API server, all running on the iPhone.
This build fixes importing model folders on sideloaded installs. Files often won't let a re-signed app open a folder, so Import model now also lists model folders and GGUF files you copy into Files › On My iPhone › OnDevice Max. That path needs no document picker. Folders and single files use separate pickers, Core AI pack folders (metadata.json + .aimodel) import too, and imported models keep their names after a restart. It also carries the fixes from the unreleased builds 61–63. Among them: downloaded Core AI packs appear on the Models home, the chosen chat model is remembered, and Core AI replies no longer show stray <unk> tokens or missing spaces.
This is an early sideload build. It is built from the OnDevice Max fork of this codebase, which is not yet published as source. Model weights are downloaded separately and are not bundled in this IPA.
The 47,466,720-byte IPA contains only Payload/ at its root, including OnDeviceMax.app and OnDeviceMaxShare.appex. Bundle id com.mesutcydev.ondevicemax, minimum iOS 27.0. OnDevice Core 1.0.0 (65) — pinned Core AI catalog
iOS distribution update — October 1, 2026: Public IPA downloads have been retired as distribution moves to the App Store. Official App Store links will be shared when available. Historical release notes and source code remain available.
OnDevice Core 1.0.0 (build 65) pins the Core AI model catalog to exact upstream revisions and follows the Whisper speech pack's move on Hugging Face, on iOS 27+.
All 27 Core AI catalog packs now name an exact Hugging Face commit, so an installed build no longer changes when an upstream repository does. On 2026-09-26 the Whisper repository moved its AOT bundle from ios/ to ios-h18p/; the catalog now points at the new location. That fix first shipped in build 64, which was not published separately. The memory-admission policy from build 63 is unchanged.
The IPA is profile-less and ad-hoc signed for installer-side re-signing. It contains the main app, the share extension, and nested frameworks under Payload/ only. The app retains increased-memory-limit, increased-debugging-memory-limit, extended-virtual-addressing, Private Cloud Compute, App Group, and iCloud entitlements; the share extension retains the shared App Group. A signer must supply valid app and extension profiles, and iOS ultimately determines which capabilities are granted.
Large language, vision, and speech model weights are downloaded separately. Original source and bundled third-party notices are retained in the app.
Validation: the release script confirmed all 27 catalog packs are downloadable and every catalog invariant holds, and the Release archive and final IPA structure/signatures/entitlements passed the project release checks. Compared with build 63, the package has the same 45 files and identical app and share-extension entitlements. No physical-device memory or generation test was performed.
Size: 44,046,262 bytes (44.0 MB).

OnDevice Core 1.0.0 (63) — LAS memory policy
iOS distribution update — October 1, 2026: Public IPA downloads have been retired as distribution moves to the App Store. Official App Store links will be shared when available. Historical release notes and source code remain available.
OnDevice Core 1.0.0 (build 63) applies the OnDeviceLAS memory-admission policy to the classic Core workbench on iOS 27+.
The high-memory iPhone policy cap is now 9.2 GB. The larger physical-RAM estimate is eligible only when the installed signature carries increased-memory-limit, any embedded provisioning profile grants it, and Low Power Mode is off. Diagnostics distinguish kernel headroom from the LAS policy estimate. Existing thermal, pressure, cancellation, and coordinated-residency protections remain in place.
This is a permissive admission estimate, not a guarantee of iOS memory capacity. A model admitted above the kernel-reported headroom can still be terminated by iOS. This release does not claim to implement the separate strict-kernel RAM audit.
Validation: nine focused iOS Simulator tests passed, repository hygiene passed, and the Release archive and final IPA structure/signatures/entitlements passed the project release checks. No physical-device memory or generation test was performed.
Size: 44,044,168 bytes (44.0 MB).

OnDevice Core 1.0.0 (62) — iOS 27 sideload IPA
iOS distribution update — October 1, 2026: Public IPA downloads have been retired as distribution moves to the App Store. Official App Store links will be shared when available. Historical release notes and source code remain available.
OnDevice Core 1.0.0 (build 62) is the iOS 27+ local AI workbench with Core AI, MLX, llama.cpp, Lens, voice, image generation, model management, and the share extension.
This build fixes loading large models. The memory check now trusts the per-app limit iOS actually reports instead of a share of total RAM, and sizes downloaded, imported and installed models from the weights they really load, so a model that cannot fit is refused with a clear message instead of the app being closed by iOS. Renamed fine-tunes such as MiMo-V2.6 Distill get their family's memory-saving settings, the diagnostics export shows the app's memory limit and whether the memory entitlements are active, and the app also declares increased-debugging-memory-limit so re-signers that honour it keep it. Model weights are downloaded separately and are not bundled in this IPA.
The 44,044,882-byte IPA was verified to contain only Payload/ at its root, including OnDeviceCoreAIStudio.app and OnDeviceCoreShare.appex. The app, nested frameworks, and extension are ad-hoc signed with the intended entitlements. An installer must re-sign the IPA with valid profiles for both the app and share extension before installation.

OnDevice Core 1.0.0 (61) — iOS 27 sideload IPA
iOS distribution update — October 1, 2026: Public IPA downloads have been retired as distribution moves to the App Store. Official App Store links will be shared when available. Historical release notes and source code remain available.
OnDevice Core 1.0.0 (build 61) is the iOS 27+ local AI workbench with Core AI, MLX, llama.cpp, Lens, voice, image generation, model management, and the share extension.
This build fixes importing models from Files. The old picker mixed folders with files, so tapping a model folder opened it instead of selecting it. Folder and GGUF file imports now use separate pickers. Import model also lists model folders and GGUF files copied into Files › On My iPhone › OnDevice Core, which works on sideloaded installs where Files won't open a folder. Core AI pack folders (metadata.json + .aimodel) import too, and imported models keep their names after a restart. Model weights are downloaded separately and are not bundled in this IPA.
The 44,037,710-byte IPA was verified to contain only Payload/ at its root, including OnDeviceCoreAIStudio.app and OnDeviceCoreShare.appex. The app, nested frameworks, and extension are ad-hoc signed with the intended entitlements. An installer must re-sign the IPA with valid profiles for both the app and share extension before installation.
