🚀 Release v3.0.5: ReSukiSU Identity & Pipeline Overhaul

Welcome to v3.0.5! This release marks the complete migration to the ReSukiSU identity across the entire codebase while introducing major under-the-hood optimizations to our build workflows, self-hosted Forgejo CI, ccache integration, and LLVM toolchain.

📲 Compatibility Matrix

Status Target ROM Artifact Name Description / Notes
🟢 Primary LineageOS / Custom ROMs kernel-LineageOS-NP2-ReSukiSU.zip Fully tested on daily driver setup. Recommended for most users.
🟡 Community NothingOS (Stock) kernel-NOS-NP2-ReSukiSU.zip Untested build. Should Boot cleanly, but community feedback/PRs are welcome!

✨ What's New & Kernel Highlights

  • ReSukiSU Brand Identity: Standardized official kernel identity strings, banners, and remaining source files under the new ReSukiSU banner (6d0d975).
  • AnyKernel3 Script Refactor: Cleaned up legacy options and streamlined updater logic for improved recovery compatibility and smoother flashing (5a286d8).
  • Experimental BBG Support: Added preliminary hooks for BBG compilation.

⚠️ Note: Currently disabled by default (bbg = false) to prevent bootloops while undergoing active testing.

⚙️ Build Infrastructure & CI/CD

  • LLVM Compiler Upgrades: Upgraded the toolchain pipeline and refined custom kernel patching routines for cleaner binary outputs (c21d2cf).
  • Forgejo Runner & Matrix Optimization: Modernized the build-all workflow with a specialized build matrix optimized for self-hosted Forgejo runners (f467508).
  • Accelerated Compilation (ccache): Optimized ccache integration and updated runner dependencies (cpio, memory swap rules) to yield significantly faster build times.

🧹 Deprecations & Removals

  • Focused ROM Targets: Standardized primary development around custom AOSP/LineageOS trees. Stock NothingOS support remains secondary and community-driven.

🚨 Flashing Warning: Always make a backup of your stock or current working boot.img / init_boot.img via custom recovery or fastboot prior to flashing custom kernel builds.
