What's New

Terminal opening now works out of the box - no macOS automation permissions required!

Changes

  • Replaced AppleScript with open command and .command files
  • Auto-detects iTerm and uses it if available, otherwise falls back to Terminal.app
  • No more "Not authorised to send Apple events" errors
  • Works immediately for all users without any setup

Technical Details

  • .command files are automatically executed by Terminal/iTerm when opened
  • Uses open -a iTerm when iTerm is installed at /Applications/iTerm.app
  • Falls back to open (default Terminal.app) otherwise
