- OBS Studio plugin (OBS 31+): UwUPulse runs directly inside OBS, no desktop app needed. Your iPhone or a BLE chest strap connects straight to OBS; the dock brings the full UwUPulse interface (pairing, overlay editor with custom CSS, recording, local API) and the new UwUPulse overlay source drops your heart rate into any scene. Runs alongside the desktop app with its own port, pairing and data. Windows x64/ARM64, macOS (universal), Linux x64.
- OBS plugin in the setup: choose Desktop app and/or OBS plugin (preselected when OBS Studio is found). Updates keep the plugin current, uninstalling removes it. OBS is never closed; the setup asks for a restart instead.
- Releases carry the OBS plugin on its own: .zip for Windows x64/ARM64 and macOS, .tar.gz and a
uwupulse-obs.deb for Linux x64. - The dock inside OBS points to the setup for updates.
- Security hardening for the plugin installation: on Windows the setup creates its folders in ProgramData protected from the start and stops at folders owned by other users; the system-browser fallback of the dock uses a one-time ticket instead of the secret.

macOS: die .dmg öffnen und UwUPulse Setup starten. UwUPulse ist nicht bei Apple notarisiert (keine Developer ID): sagt macOS, es könne das Programm nicht prüfen, unter Systemeinstellungen → Datenschutz & Sicherheit → Trotzdem öffnen freigeben.
Linux: .deb und .rpm installieren systemweit und aktualisieren sich selbst (fragt nach dem Administrator-Passwort); die portable Version einfach entpacken und ./UwUPulse/uwupulse starten, sie aktualisiert sich nicht.
OBS-Plugin: Die Setups für Windows, macOS und Linux (x64) bieten es gleich mit an und halten es aktuell. Von Hand: den Ordner aus der .zip bzw. .tar.gz in den Plugin-Ordner von OBS kopieren (siehe plugins/obs/README.md), oder unter Ubuntu/Debian UwUPulse-obs-linux-x64.deb installieren.

macOS: open the .dmg and start UwUPulse Setup. UwUPulse isn't notarized by Apple (no developer ID): if macOS says it can't check the app, allow it under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
Linux: the .deb and .rpm install system-wide and update themselves (asking for the administrator password); the portable one you just unpack and start with ./UwUPulse/uwupulse, and it doesn't update itself.
OBS plugin: the setups for Windows, macOS and Linux (x64) offer it as well and keep it up to date. By hand: copy the folder from the .zip or .tar.gz into OBS's plugin folder (see plugins/obs/README.md), or install UwUPulse-obs-linux-x64.deb on Ubuntu/Debian.
