A browser New Tab replacement page: shortcut management, personalized wallpapers, an AI assistant, and a scratchpad.

Changelog

  • Theme modes: new Light / Dark / Auto switching; Auto mode recolors text in real time based on the wallpaper pixels beneath it

  • Help center: new "Help" entry in the menu, Markdown-style layout (left chapter navigation + right content), covering AI key setup, Bocha search key guide, and shortcut tutorials

  • Shortcut dialog: rebuilt visuals (split keycaps, ordered from few keys to many, softer description text) and added Command-key equivalents

  • Menu redesign: iconified menu items, grouped sections, isolated dangerous actions, pill-shaped site-direct search card

  • Interaction polish: clicking the bottom-right menu button now closes a dialog opened from the menu; fixed the menu button being hidden behind the modal overlay

  • Default shortcuts: refreshed built-in defaults (including image icons)

  • AI assistant: sidebar title replaced with the brand icon

Installation

  • motuo-tab.extension.zip -- MV3 extension package
  • newtab.html -- Single-file HTML (no installation required)
