Release list
CyTools_AudioLibrary 0.1.4
Changes
Shared waveform rendering, playhead/selection/navigation, themes and diagnostics; audio libraries, analysis and file workflows remain application-owned.
Selected unmodified CyUI 1.2.0 modules are pinned in app/cyui-source.json. The full MIT license is included in LICENCES/CyUI-MIT.txt, with the upstream license link. The CyUI repository is currently private; the packaged application runs without access to it. Application and third-party licenses remain unchanged.
Windows x64 download
Download CyTools_AudioLibrary-0.1.4-windows-x64.zip, extract the complete archive into a writable folder, then launch CyTools_AudioLibrary.exe. Private Python and the base interface dependencies are included. Models, optional inference engines and user data are not included.
cytools-app.zip is the application update for an existing compatible runtime. Use the full Windows package for a new installation. SHA-256 checksums are provided.
Validation
The portable launcher was started from a separate working directory; the CLI contract, selected CyUI source hashes, adapter integration tests and application update layout were verified on Windows. Linux/macOS execution and model inference were not revalidated for this interface release.

CyTools_AudioLibrary 0.1.3
Windows download
Download the complete Windows x64 ZIP
Extract the archive, then double-click CyTools_AudioLibrary.exe. A private Python runtime is included.
What changed
- Every column of the sound list sorts with a click on its header: name, duration, type, category, tags, folder and analysis state, and, in search results, the final score and each model's score. A second click reverses the order; in search results a third click gives back the relevance order. The selected sound stays selected when the order changes.
browse_assets(CLI and MCP) sorts bycategory, tagsandstateas well.- Fixed: dragging a selection on the waveform closed the application.
- Interface screenshots on the repository page.
Installation and updates
- An installation in 0.1.2 can update from the Updates tab: the runtime is unchanged.
- Model weights and optional inference engines are downloaded separately through the application. They retain their own licenses and acceptance requirements.
- The application ZIP is for updating an existing installation with a compatible runtime. Use the full Windows ZIP when installing for the first time or changing runtime versions.
- The
.exedownload alone requires the adjacentapp/andruntime/folders. - SHA-256 checksums are provided beside each download and in
SHA256SUMS.txt.

Install
- Download
CyTools_AudioLibrary-0.1.0-windows-x64.zipand unzip it where the application should live: it creates its private environment in that folder. - From that folder, once:

In this version
- Virtual libraries over several folders, a relocatable cache, stable identifiers, incremental rescan and background synchronisation. Audio files are never moved or modified, except by the two File Tools operations, which ask for confirmation.
- Waveforms, an integrated player, a folder tree, multi-selection and batch editing of tags, categories, rating and notes.
- Search in natural language, in any language: M2D-CLAP 2025, LAION-CLAP and Omni-Embed-Audio search at once and their rankings are fused; an optional local LLM, including a fine-tuned caption model, rewrites messy requests first.
- File Tools: rename badly named files and write tags into them, with preview, confirmation and undo.
- Model installation with sizes, sources and licences, and staged application updates from this repository with rollback.
Requirements and limits
- Executed on Windows 10 x64 with an NVIDIA card only. The Linux launcher exists and has never been run.
Install.ps1uses the Python installed on the machine to create the private environment: this is not a Python-free installer.- Model weights are not included. Some come under non-commercial licences that each user accepts personally in the Installation tab.
- The launcher is not code-signed. It carries version information naming Cyberalien, and its source is
app/launcher.cpp.
Licensed under GPL-3.0-only.
