Alpha preview

Experimental Alpha release — Windows x64.

Download the complete portable Windows ZIP

Extract the archive and launch CyTools_AudioStudio.exe. The Python runtime and native plugin host are included.

Changes

  • CLAP, LV2 and JSFX audio effects in track/master inserts and processing workflows.
  • Isolated native workers for CLAP, LV2 and JSFX, with plugin windows, parameter automation and saved state.
  • JSFX EEL2 source editor, compilation checks, imports and safe saving.
  • VST3 support remains available.

Validation

Windows x64: 245 tests executed, 243 passed, 2 Piper tests skipped because the optional voice/engine was not installed. Portable application startup, plugin processing and MCP checked with the included Python runtime.

Installation

  • Optional generation engines and model weights are installed separately through the application.
  • cytools-app.zip updates an existing installation with a compatible runtime; use the portable ZIP for a fresh installation.
  • The .exe alone requires the adjacent app/ and runtime/ folders.
  • SHA-256 checksums are provided for every binary/archive.

This release is marked pre-release (Alpha) and does not replace the latest stable release.
