Changes

Modular CyUI 1.2.0: interactive timeline, typed panel properties, image previews, shared 2D canvas and 3D viewport surface. Duration gestures support cancellation and a single Undo/Redo transaction; overlapping crossfades have separately accessible handles.

Selected unmodified CyUI 1.2.0 modules are pinned in app/cyui-source.json. The full MIT license is included in LICENCES/CyUI-MIT.txt, with the upstream license link. The packaged application runs without an upstream checkout or account. Application and third-party licenses remain unchanged.

Windows x64 download

Download CyTools_Storyboard-0.2.2-windows-x64.zip, extract the complete archive into a writable folder, then launch CyTools_Storyboard.exe. Private Python and the base interface dependencies are included. Models, optional inference engines and user data are not included.

cytools-app.zip is the application update for an existing compatible runtime. Use the full Windows package for a new installation. SHA-256 checksums are provided.

Validation

The portable launcher was started from a separate working directory. Native views were verified with synthetic conversation/storyboard fixtures in English and French, alongside source hashes, adapter tests across five themes and two densities, and application update verification on Windows. Existing processing contracts and base runtime dependencies are retained. Linux/macOS execution and model inference were not revalidated for this interface release.

CyTools_Storyboard 0.2.1

Storyboard 0.2.1 refreshes the desktop interface with CyUI.

• Updated toolbar, reference library, storyboard cards, inspector and timeline controls.
• Consistent controls and styling in the Images and Layout pages and film/workflow export dialogs.
• Five themes and compact or comfortable interface density in Options.
• English by default, with French available in Options.
• Existing projects, CLI and MCP operations remain compatible with 0.2.0; CyToolsCore stays at 0.10.1 (MIT).

Windows: download CyTools_Storyboard-0.2.1-windows-x64.zip, extract it and launch CyTools_Storyboard.exe. Private Python, the desktop interface and media export dependencies are included. Image generation engines and model weights are installed separately through the application.

Updating 0.2.0: use the Updates page or the cytools-app.zip application archive. Projects, models and settings are preserved. The separate EXE requires the adjacent app and runtime folders.

SHA-256 checksums are supplied for each download.

Extract the windows-x64.zip archive and launch CyTools_Storyboard.exe. Models and optional GPU engines are installed separately through the application.

The application ZIP updates an existing compatible installation. The standalone .exe requires the adjacent app/ and runtime/ folders. SHA-256 checksums are supplied for every download.

CyTools_Storyboard 0.1.0

First release of CyTools Storyboard, a storyboard and previs application for generated films.

Download: CyTools_Storyboard-0.1.0-win64.zip — unzip anywhere (a short path without accents is
safest) and double-click CyTools_Storyboard.exe. It contains a private Python 3.11 with everything
the application needs; nothing else has to be installed.

What it does

• Board and timeline of timed panels with structured prompts, dialogue, sound and a reference
  library (characters, locations, objects, styles, pictures, sounds, videos).
• Staging on shared 3D sets with posable mannequins (joint by joint or with handles in the view,
  inverse kinematics) and shot cameras, or 2D drawings.
• Exports: contact sheet, script (HTML / Markdown) and animatic MP4 in which 3D panels play their
  camera and character moves.
• MiniMax H3 film export (one segment per panel, overlapping segments, per-segment pictures, videos
  and sounds, optional depth or OpenPose control videos) with a ComfyUI workflow for the
  ComfyUI-CyTools-H3Film nodes, and MiniMax H3
  workflow export for CyTools_MiniMaxH3.
• Desktop interface in English and French, command line and MCP server (CyToolsCore).
