Release list
NetFuse 1.2.0
NetFuse 1.2.0 for Windows 10 and 11 (x64).
New: consoles and other devices on your Mobile hotspot
A PS5, an Xbox, a TV or another phone on your PC's Mobile hotspot now keeps working
while Combined mode is on, and NetFuse can speed up its downloads too.
- Turn on hotspot on the Dashboard starts the hotspot right on NetFuse, without the
switch that makes apps such as Steam pause their downloads. - Split downloads of hotspot devices (Settings > Mobile hotspot, off by default):
game downloads from the console use all your download networks. Online play, PSN and
logins stay on the main network. Off, devices simply use the main network. - Keep the hotspot on (on by default): Windows doesn't switch the hotspot off while
the console sleeps. - PlayStation preset and a new Accelerate sites list on the Rules screen: plain
HTTP downloads such as PS5 games are fetched in parts over every network at once, even
though the console uses only one or two connections. - NAT type 2 on PlayStation (Open/Moderate on Xbox) through Combined mode. Games and
calls on the PC also get friendlier UDP: one outside port per game port. - Traffic from these devices shows as Hotspot device in Connections.
In our test, a PS5 downloaded at 25–30 MB/s over Ethernet plus an iPhone, against about
9 MB/s with plain hotspot sharing.
New: Help & FAQ
A Help & FAQ screen in the sidebar answers the common questions (speed, Steam,
consoles, mobile data, rules, phone tethering, fixing problems), with search and buttons
that open the right screen. Report a problem walks you through sending a report that
can be fixed: Debug mode, system info (no IP addresses), logs, and a GitHub issue.
Debug mode (Settings > App) writes detailed logs and adds a Developer screen with
live usage per app and network, the NAT table, connection details and the log.
Faster and steadier
Combined mode now runs on NetFuse's own network stack, with large TCP windows, so fast
downloads (also those of devices on the hotspot) can use the full speed of your lines.
Fixed
- With Mobile hotspot on, turning on Combined mode could take the PC offline (traffic
looped back into NetFuse). NetFuse now turns off IP forwarding on your internet
adapters while Combined mode runs and turns it back on afterwards. - Epic Games downloads weren't split: the game data comes from Epic's install helper,
which the Epic preset didn't include. If you added the Epic preset before, click
Epic on the Rules screen again. - A network with only idle connections (for example the Epic launcher's background
connections) could get almost no new connections for several minutes.

NetFuse 1.1.0
NetFuse 1.1.0 for Windows 10 and 11 (x64).
New: network roles
Give each network a job: Everyday + downloads, Everyday only, Downloads only or
Not used. For example, keep Ethernet for browsing, games and calls, and use a phone
hotspot only for downloads, so a big Steam download never slows down your browsing line.
- Boosted downloads and the built-in downloader use only networks that allow downloads.
If the download network drops, they wait for it instead of moving to your everyday
network. - The main network and fail-over use only networks that allow everyday traffic.
- The role menu is on each network card and in Settings > Networks. The old "Use"
switch is replaced (on = Everyday + downloads, off = Everyday only).
Fixed
- Websites hung or loaded very slowly in Combined mode on PCs without IPv6.
- Chrome slowed down to a crawl while another download was running (QUIC / HTTP/3).
- "Stop at the data limit" now really stops the main network once its allowance is used.
- The speed chart's labels were cut off and used odd steps.
